Empowering Healing Through Lived Experience
After receiving over a dozen mental health diagnoses, including bipolar disorder, and suffering from chronic pain for several decades, I was ready to give up entirely by the time I turned 41.
As a young single mother of four, I struggled to withstand the side effects of numerous medications as I was already debilitated by my conditions—I couldn't bear any further deterioration. This led me to live much of my life isolated, unmedicated, and in chronic despair.
My childhood was spent in perpetually unsafe environments, and my teen and young adult years were riddled with toxic relationships and abuse. The trauma of the past haunted my every moment, compounding both mental and physical turmoil, and fueling my desperation for a way out.
In 2018, at the brink of ending my life, I accidentally discovered a dietary intervention - the ketogenic diet - that would ultimately save my life. Through a transformative metabolic framework, I was able to fully recover from bipolar disorder—without the need for medication.
Today, I remain in full remission from bipolar disorder and chronic pain, and I’ve devoted my life to lighting the path for others to safely embark on their own metabolic recovery journeys.
As a lived experience mentor, I offer one-on-one support and group guidance. Whether you're seeking healing for yourself through the ketogenic lifestyle, supporting a loved one on their keto journey, or have already found success with metabolic therapies but crave ongoing community support, my mission is to foster a safe and empowering space where recovery is not only achievable but sustainable.
